I currently have a US Modded xbox which i purchased so i could get the benefit of games playing in progressive scan. Is there any software available which will allow DVD's to play in progressive scan?

Help very much apreciated

In my signature there is a 480p Dashboard/DVD link that enables you to patch the MS dash for 480p output in all modes (and DVD). It only takes a few minutes to do. That being said - the xbox dvd players is not stunningly better in 480p if your set has a good line doubler for 480i signals. Still worth patching though. There is also DVDX2.0 which can be patched for 480p but doesn't allow for remote functionality.

Couldn't find the DVDx2.0 patch on the "usual" place is their a section you could point me towards?

For the DVDx 480p patcher - main page - tools - xbe tools - first item.

For the MS Dashboard - main page - tools - MS Dashboard editors - MSxboxdash progressive patch. Use this if you don't want to Hex edit manually (i.e. my signature) but it doesn't work for all dash versions where I believe the manual hex edit does.
