Neverwill love that skin! nice work, however there is only one prob why does the time show up way outside of where it's surpose to be? it's more above and to the right. i have a normal 640 x 480 TV. How can i fix this?

That's really odd, is all the other information in the right place?

Anyway, open up the skin.xml file (right click, edit) and look for this line:

<Text Top="113" Left="98" Align="Middle" Color="0xFFB6FF00" ScaleX="100" ScaleY="100" Font="common10" zIndex="8" Source="$Time$"></Text>

You will have to adjust the "Text Top=" and "Left=" properties until it is in the right place on your screen. Then save the xml and update it in vista unleash x folder. (Either replace the existing one or save over the existing one.) Both numerical values start from the top left hand corner of your screen, so for example right now the time should be 113 pixels down (from the top left) and 98 pixels to the right (from the top left). (with maximums being 480 For "Top=" and 640 for "Left=")

Also, maybe you don't have the newest version of unleash x, which might cause problems with newer skins. I'm not sure if it does though, just another thought.

It wasn't that far out as you can see but it made it difficult to read
I have the latest version as well so yeah it is a bit weird.

Hmmm, it seems that your E: drive reading is a bit high too... I wonder why that happened.

Is anyone else having any problems with my skin (as far as info not being where it's supposed to be)?

^^^^ That looks really good so far! Did you make the UX logo in the background?

The only thing I don't really like that much is the menu, I usually like to see at least 5 options, but that doesn't mean your skin doesn't look great. I'd maybe try and do something different with that part. Up to you though, it doesn't look bad per say...

Looking forward to seeing how the rest of it shapes up. Are you making a media player and file manager too?

I agree, this rocks! Good to see some work on widescreen skins.

However, i also agree with neverwill... the menu needs to change a little bit... Maybe just made bigger and layered over the top... I dunno...

-neverwill- Yes, I made the UX logo in the background.

I wasn't completely happy with the menu myself, I'll see what I do different. I also need to figure out how I want the previews to show since when upsized to fill the background space they pixilate. I may also add an animated element somewhere. Media player and file manager in the works too.

thanks iLLmatic, I was inspired by alot of great skins including your Project Mayhem versions. I realize how much effort it takes to make one of these...! Looking forward to sharing it!

Alright, I did an update to my Vista Unleash X skin. I added some graphics to the menu and the media player, changed the file manager a bit and added a video background.

This will probably be the last Unleash x skin I do (I've switched to xbox media center as my main dash recently) so I hope everyone enjoys this little update to my skin...
