I have a backup game of TimeSplitters 2, but it is a NTSC version.
I have a PAL box. Is there any way that the game can be used on a PAL box?

Yes, I have a Matrix mod.

I do get sound, but the TV goes blank when the game is started.

In an included info file, it says:

The GENIUS release earlier today doesn't work on USA Xboxes. So we bring you the American version which does.

and:

Origin ............: USA / NTSC

Try switching it from Pal to NTSC with the enigma video select disc.
I run a VGA box and had to do that. tongue.gif

it's like they say just put you're xbox into ntsc with the videoselecter disc, thenit works fine....As i have a pal xbox i tried it and it works

I always thought that if your box was chipped then it would run pal and ntsc discs.

I've tried both PAL and NTSC games on a modded PAL system.
and it worked.

I too got the black screen error. but that depended on bad media.

some of the ntsc games won't run fine on a pal xbox , superman, won't work if it's in pal mode it plays intro over and over again if you switch to ntsc it works ok

I have the same problem. Pal box. Ntsc game (timesplitters 2). The game shows no video in pal. When set to ntsc (enigma video 2) it shows. But I have no ntsc tv. So I get black/white screen. Isn't there a solution for this. Beside buying a ntsc tv?

Sorry found the solution. Set it to PAL. But use PAL60! If your tv supports it it should run fine.

Does anyone know if there is a program to switch the game from PAL to NTSC? It's kind of complictated to have to switch back and forth between NTSC and PAL. I have 2 PAL games, but I have like 20 NTSC that I run of the hard drive, and since I was planning on putting the PAL ones on the hard drive too, I would need to convert the PAL games into NTSC. They have some for playstation games, does anyone know if they have one for the xbox games?
