Hi there

I have recently networked my Xbox and PC using two NICs and crossover.

I can ftp across fine. However the PC to Xbox speeds never exceed 500kps. But the Xbox to PC speeds are always 20mbs+.

I know this obviously points to my home PC NIC card (Realtek RTL8139) but its a brand new PC and was wondering if you had any suggestions before I rip that one out and buy a new one!

Regards

Marcus

i don't think u should take it out because if it can receive 20mbs+ than it must be able to send that much as well.
take it out and have a look at it, and if it still is slow than go back to the store and replace it with another one. the one u have might have some problems with wiring or something.
