If you look at the Xbox emulator scene, every emu made by Xport has the option to search for cheats. Not so for genuine Xbox games. No memory editor and no cheat search option hacks anywhere. Just the odd trainer for only the most used games, not the less popular titles.
What's everyone afraid of? Cheating on Live?
I'll save some of you the hassle of responding: "If you're so smart why don't YOU make the tools...moron, ingrate!"
Oh, and by the way, why not create a Halo Hack forum and free up this space for the rest of the games!
Time for some fresh blood. Rookies.

I will. Right after you remove your Halo trainer and Halo hacks - your "game extenters".
I was afraid it would come down to gay bashing.
To reiterate: Pathetic!

On the PC side, equivalent programs are Game Wizard 32 [DOS based] or Game Hack [Windows]. Essentially, they are real-time memory editors. You can search for specific strings, names, whatever you want and EDIT the values - no worries about file signatures, checksums and all that mess.
THEN, more members of the scene can contribute. It would no longer be "the few" members of the fraternity periodically plopping a trainer on the scene. That's what I'm talking about.

| QUOTE (moistness @ Dec 10 2003, 06:19 PM) | I appologise if the word faggot offends you or anyone else, it was meant in a lighthearted way. same goes for the word girl (I'm not gender bashing either)
so since we live in a politically correct society i will rephrase my previous post for you:
cheats are for people who lack the ability to play the game to completion without "special help"
imo, complaining about the lack of cheat devices/codes/trainers is the same as saying "i really suck at playing games", which is also pathetic!

Say what you want. I did. It's an open forum.
After having played the game to completion multiple times, then what? That's where I think "game extenters", hacks, cheats and trainers help. Remember that most of these games are in the $30 - $50 range. That's more than pocket change. I'd like to stretch it some.

| QUOTE (SniperKilla @ Dec 10 2003, 06:25 PM) | heh, we make cheats for the games that we can... give us a break....
so far i personally have made cheats/hacks for Hitman 2 Project gotham 2 Deus Ex 2
and more in the future | No prob Bob. Slack given.
What I really am hoping to see is global game tools, as I mentioned.
I offer my props, for what they're worth, to the current game hackers.

yea I know what it is, I think evox already has it in the bios | the thing the new evox dash has is call Debug TSR which is simaler to the memory search of gameshark pro for psx (o how I miss those day ). You can find where the values are stored in memory

"Here's a match. Start the fire." | Halo's the only game that cheats are fun (after you've played the hell out of it) that doesn't come with them IMO. So just look at the modding stuff for that.
