Evox 3935 Released Options

The 3935 I downloaded is missing the 'Flash BIOS' option. It just shows 'Settings, Backup, Skins'. How do I fix this?

get your evox.ini file and find this section

Section "System Utils"
{
Item "Settings",ID_Settings
Item "Flash BIOS",ID_Flash_Bios
Item "Backup",ID_Backup
Item "Skins",ID_Skins
}

the flash bios one probably isn't there, add it like it is here.

Hi,

I bought my xbox a while ago with everything all setup but always had problems with some things eg-xbmp-could never get any files into it
-could never access the ms dash
-audio cds never worked etc.

I want to upgrade my bios and dash and have a successful ftp going with Transmit. What exactly do I need to download and what exactly do I need to replace?

I want to be able to use my xbox to it's full potential, can someone give me a hand?

You'll need to download the Bios and Dashboard that you want. What dash are you currently using? Also you will want to download the newest version of Xbox Media Center which Replace Xbox Media player (XBMP). Most any Dash will have built in FTP. So there is an place to start. This seems like an weird place to put an post but im not the mod of the group.

evox is not and wont be a media player.

Team EvolutionX don't make many releases. With the exception of EvolutionX 1.8.3921 (buggy FTP) they only release stuff when it's finished and bug-free. That's why EvoX M8+ wasn't followed by a bug-fixed M9+ only days later. They iron out problems BEFORE release.

Just because it's old, doesn't mean it needs an update.

I have a halo 2 problem when I first got evox on my xbox it makes halo 2 *just halo 2* load EXTREMELY slow sometimes won't load maps and same off the hard drive... I think this replaces the maps on the disk am I right? cuase thats the only thing I could think... is there a way to fix this?

if halo 2 is on your hdd, it could've just been a bad backup or a dirty disc, trhey NEVER run properly off the xbox. use a clean disc and use newest dvd2xbox/pxhdd loader. i doubt this is an evox problem... try turning off IGR maybe, but i dont think that is the root of the problem. if downloaded content maps arent loading, make sure they are not corrupt if you got them from places *other* than xbox live.
