I am looking all over for a guide on swapping an xbox hard-drive. I haven't found a real good one on the forums yet. I was wondering where the best guide is at in the forums or not. Thanks a lot.

I used this site with some mods
http://www.copying-xbox-games.com/upgrade-...-hard-drive.php Copied all drive to under different folder names to my computer (make sure I had a good copy) then copied my c drive to a nother drive so I could change the "evox.ini" once I had done this IMPORTANT rename the evox dash to default.xbe , I didn't do this at the begining and I couldn't work out why the xbox would work. Make a ISO of the new C drive using XISO, I used this to make a ISO but used NERO to burn the ISO. Burn to a CD-RW if possibly they work better the CD-R, if unsure copy a audio track to the CD and see if the XBOX reads it. Put the new CDRW in follow your noise and once the hardrives are formated copy the files back from your PC to the XBOX DONE. If all fails you still have the first hard drive untouched |
