Hi,

I've tried flashing half of my cousin's x2.3 lite with flashx and am having problems. The xbox is a new Christmas bundle pack (don't know if it's 1.4 or 1.5).
Anyway, flashx takes forever to flash halft the chip (10 mins maybe) and when it is used the harddrive makes some "doesn't sound too healthy" noises and I don't even get an error message on the screen. I've done a search re. flashx and there seems to have been some problems with the 1.1 version. Does anyone know of any incompatibilities with newer xboxes.

All help appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi, thanks for replying.

I'm using flashx so that if anything goes wrong (as it has) I won't be lumbered with an unusable machine as I don't have an external reprogrammer. I could flash with evox b ut flashx seemed safer, just a shame it doesn't work sad.gif

Thanks for the help amigo! Anone else know if flashx is duff?
