Yes i did search the forums but to no avail dry.gif

I have the Evox D6 bios on my Matrix (that's installed in my xbox) right now. I have the latest version of Evolution X (3935) and I have the Evox D7 bios in the bios folder on the C drive. My matrix is set in position 4 (writable). When I go to flash it from Evox it says erasing and nothing else happens, its like it just freezes. Has anyone else had this issue? I really would like to flash it with D7 without having to take out my matrix (they're a pain to get back in place on version 1.1 xboxs). Does anyone have any suggestions that might help?

Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

try switching booting to the cromwell 1.8 (if you only flashed bank zero, flip dip 4 to on and it will boot to bank 1) then reflash with the bin on a cdr. IT WILL ONLY FLASH BANK 0!!!! SWITCH DIP BACK!! to reboot into bank zero again. which should now contain your new bios...

The Matrix is only 1 256KB bank. So, there is no flipping to different banks.

As for the flash...are you sure that the D7 is a 256kb BIOS? Was it possibly modded to something larger?

Nope, both m7 and m7ejectfix are 256kb. When i try flashing the matrix with something larger, Evox tells me it's too big. That's can't be the problem sad.gif

Out of curiousity, have you modified your Evox.ini file for use with a Chameleon?

Not sure if you were adressing the "have you modified evox.ini for use with chameleon", but if you were i'm using a matrix, not a chameleon. Wasn't sure so i posted anyways.
