I installed my x2.3b lite chip and, when enabled, it would try to boot thrice tiempos, then do the Christmas lights thing. Its really beautiful and makes me feel very Christmasy but the xbox doesnt work with chip enabled, and if you think about it, why would I have purchased the chip if it didn't work enabled. Anywhoo, long story short, I bought the LPT programmer and flashed the chip with x2 4979 repack. According to all the tut's, I did it exactly right, with flashing working 100% w/o errors.

NOW, when I boot my xbox with chip disabled, it still boots up normally, BUT ()(), when chip is enabled, I STILL get same 3 boots with Christmas lights. GGGGGGGLLLLLLLAAAAAAARRRRRRRRKKKKKKK !!! So what could be the freaking problem???? ANY suggestions will be appreciated!
