i modded my xbox and when i finnish I turned it on and could hear it spinning up, but then it turned off and then turned on again and spun up some more. It eventually started flashing green and red on the eject button. blink.gif blink.gif sad.gif

is it BROKEN???




can I fix it???

No its not broken. Something is not soldered right. Please give more information in order for us to help you. What version xbox, mod chip style, what bios, what you did, etc!!!

listen to slivoman, you've probably got a bad soldering point somewhere. Try rechecking all your points.

i have xbox version v1.0 ,and mod is evox 2.3.

Again Memo, you're not telling us what we need in order to help you. Evox 2.3 is a bios and not a mod chip. What mod are you installing?? Homebrew, matrix, pcbioxx, etc??? If you soldered it in, make sure all points are well soldered (no cold joints), did you splash any solder on the board, are any of your connections touching, double check everything with an ohmmeter!! The more info you give us, the more likely we can help you!!

im having the same problem with my matrix
i've put a evox 2.5 colormod bios on it, aligned in the off mode: xbox works
put it in mode 2: getting the turn on/off/on/off red/green thing
mode 3: chip's light is red, tried the swith thing but it didnt work (the chip stys red)

This was my 2nd bios when i flashed (the first wasen't a colormod evryting worked in mode2 ) i've tried this bios again but now this one also doesen't work.

I have a v1 xbox.

What should i do now??
