is it possible to but a 1.0 mobo to an 1.4 case to replace a damaged one , i should change smtg to the power in order to do that ?

v1.4 uses a different power supply to the v1.0. so i would imagine you'd need to replace the power supply too. or use a v1.2 or above motherboard

there's a tut in the tut section on how to turn the 2-row ATX style powersupplies into a single-row AT style. That should allow you to use your 1.4 powersupply with your 1.0 motherboard just fine.
