I recently just bought the optorite dd0201 dvd dual format burner and want to put into my USB 2.0 cd burner case....the cdr is a TDK 40/12/48. It looks like i should just be able to un screw this drive and put in the new one. Has anyone tried this and if so any problems?

So that isn't really a backup question, but of course you can.

My Pioneer DVD-RW is in a USB 2.0/FireWire 400 case I put it in. No prob.
