Does any have a recomendation for a DVD burner. I would like to get one that writes in both + and - ?

What is the difference anyway? Between + and -

OEM Pioneer 106 DVD writer supporting DVD+R(W) and DVD-R(W) is an excellent drive to buy. You can even download new firmware to remove the region coding and speed restrictions. Basically it will write everything biggrin.gif

It might be a different model number outside the UK though.

Yes, the Pioneer 106 is an awesome choice for price, performance, and reliability. With the hacked firmware, 12x ripping is possible on DVD videos. Very nice.

Try a search or two, many threads have been posted on good burners to buy. I own the 106 and can't imagine buying any other one (all formats, 12x ripping) biggrin.gif

my 1.3 doesn't work with anything other than -r media. go fig.
