Hey I am looking for multiplayer coop games for a single console (nothing that requires live or system link). Any good ones out there?

Ones that I know of that are pretty fun:

Both Hunter games (The Reckoning and The Reckoning Redeemer)
Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance
Dungeons and Dragons Heroes
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
Serious Sam
House of the Dead 3
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Whacked! is very very fun to play. Not an FPS. Shouldn't cost more than $20 either anymore. Played this everyday when beta testing Live, some people from here.

EDIT: How did I forget to mention the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game and it's Co-op feature? Shame on me. Not the best game ever, but if you're a fan it's still fun to play.

Battle Engine Aquilia

Yes it's co-op, but you can't progress in two player mode like you do in Halo or Baldur's Gate. You can only play the stages you've cleared in single player mode dry.gif

Actually, there are 3 co-op levels with 2 levels of difficulty. You have 3 at first and then just unlock 3 more that are the same levels, just a little tougher.
