I have the official DVD playback kit and I have a problem when trying to use it with xbmp or yamp (so not software problem).
When I use these apps any press on the remote and it keeps repeating the last command until I press a different button.
Its not the remote as I have used my pronto with the same results. It also doesnt repeat when used in the evox menu's and also as a dvd player, only in xbmp & yamp.
It isn't my xbox as it does the same on by brothers xbox (and he has a working remote on his, as it works fine in xbmp).
I'm on my second infra red/remote combination and I still get the same.
The only thing that it could be is if they changed the design of the Infra red receiver (or I have a old batch).
Just interested if anyone else has had this problem.
Please remember I accept it's not software or xbox problem, its got to be infra related.
