I personally love playing on XBConnect. Playing system link games on the internet was a fantastic idea, and I give credit to whomever credit is due. Although, I've had some personal issues with XBConnect, some little nuisances in the design of the software. That is why me, and a team of four other computer science majors at my school, have decided to build a new program to support live internet system link gaming. The idea started out as just a side project for use among us and our friends, until I realized that this is my chance to give something back to the scene. The reason for posting this message is to get input from real users rather than just coding something up that looks good to us. We've decided to turn this into a semester long project for one of our courses. Throughout the development we will be interviewing users and getting as much input and suggestions as we can. So, please feel free to post any thoughts, positive or negative, to help get this project rolling. Development on the project should start within a couple of weeks. Thanks in advance on any advice!

I'd personally love to see more tunnels that let you use your Xbox to browse the servers/connect to servers. That is what I LOVE about Xlink. You start it on your computer and then go on your Xbox and run the "BoXlink" app and you can do everything comfortly on your Xbox (Instead of on the PC).

If someone eliminated the need to tunnel it through the PC, and just use your Xbox, that WOULD be awesome!

What would be nice if you would work on a ps2 version also. I love playing Socom2 online but I'd love to play it even more if it was a lan game over the internet for my clan mates.

I also think that a tunneling program that could run on a modded XBox without a PC would be awesome. Even if it only worked half way decently people would love it.

i would prefer to be able to run this tunnel via linux/macosx/windows. It would be nice to have the source for it so people can improve on it. Also having it run on the xbox would be very nice indeed.
