I tried making a memory card for the xbox. He is exaclly what I did
1Cut the quick disconnect cable (the part that plugs into the xbox) I didnt cut past the lil peice of plastic. I striped each wire 2. I cut a usb extension cable in half and striped the female half. I rwisted the wires together. 3. I pluged it into the xbox (wires werent touching) and put a 16 mb dell thubm drive in. The xbox didnt detect it at all. I then tried pluging in a dazzle SM card reader. It made the xbox unstable and made a lil beeping noise every few seconds but it did say that the memory card was dirty or damaged but didnt let me reformat it. 4. i put tinfoil around each wire but it didnt do any thing. please please please help. |

does it matter if I solder it. I dont want to solder it unless its working but it might be the reason its not.
