Going to Hong Kong this weekend, was hoping maybe some people here would know where I should go looking for gaming oddities, things like that? I wouldn't mind finding some ancient bootlegging devices, 52-in-1 famicom carts, things like that.

Wan Chai

EDIT: Are you just on HK island, or will you be looking through the entire HKSAR?

Not sure yet. I'm staying in Japan right now, and meeting my parents there, who'll be there on business. I'll probably have plenty of time to roam, though.

Where are you in Japan? I'm actually not there for a change.

Watch out for those damn chickens. I couldn't imagine them not giving you some type of check when you come back into the states.

If I were in Japan again, I'd make sure to ridicule their culture and talk about the a-bomb.

You are aware that they have screening processes to keep people like you out, right? Too high a risk of infesting the gene pool.

I'm in Saitama, staying with my girlfriend, who's teaching out here.
Does anyone else have any suggestions where to check out in HK, as a gamer?

I'm going to assume that you already know where, and have already been to, Akihabara? If not, you're totally missing the boat, looking for a hotspot in HK, when you've got the holy grail of games under your nose.

Of course I've been to Akihabara... I try to avoid it though, as I don't have much in the way of income right now... I usually can't leave without spending over ¥10,000, with my gaming and girlfriend's anime addictions.
I'd considered checking out the Lik-sang store, but I didn't know if there was anywhere else I ought to see. If that area's pretty good, I'll give it a shoht.
