Sorry about the question, a few weeks ago I softmodded my xbox, now I want to restore it to it's original (factory) state. The problem is, I made a total mess of files in C: in my xbox, and am not pretty sure about what I should mode/delete.

I've been reading a little, but still have a question: can I use Slayer's disk to do this? I think i read somewhere about this feature in the mentioned disk, just want to be sure before downloading that 105 mb file.

Any help would be apreciated.

Did you make a backup? I think slayers has a recovery feature, but I am not sure.

Yes, Slayer's will allow you to format your drives and return your settings back to your original factory ones. In this case, you'll get dash 4920. smile.gif

If you can't boot a gamesave exploit or ftp, you'll need to hotswap or get a chip. sad.gif

Ok that's cleared, what should I do first?: huh.gif

Option A: Installing the chip, then return to original settings
Option B: Return to factory settings and then installing the chip

Also, any suggestions for the best chip are welcomed. There's a guy in town that sells and installs Aladdin and X-Ecuter 2.3, but I don't know crap about wich one is better.

Thank you guys for the fast answer.
