Evox Boots Very Slow As Does Msdash Options

My Evox install has been running great even tonight when I first booted into it, but then I "tried copying" an ISO over of a PAL (I have NTSC) game and Evox basically barely loads frame by frame and tries to boot.

I tried to boot into the disabled mode main dash and it does the same thing. I think it's a hard drive prob (brand new maxtor 120/7200) but don't want to rule out the ISO.

The ISO Qwix had excellent transfer rate and then it just stopped copying and the transfer rate started dropping badly - maybe that's irrelevent. I killed the transfer but I cannot delete the directory of the game off the drive with either FlashFXP or FTP as the directory appears to delete but then comes right back.

I used Slayers to install and have not had any issues for the past 3 days after the install. I even updated my Avalanch, Bioscheck, Bioscan the night before and no issues until after I tried to ftp the game via Qwix.

Any ideas?
