I have a 120 GB HD and want to copy it all over to a >137 GB HD. My Xenium Chip (1.1 OS) has a smart HD copy function, but only can see <137 GB. Can I format my new drive in Slayer's for the full 160 GB and then slave it in my DVDROM part of the IDE and use my chip to do the Smart copy to copy all my current data. After doing this and switching the jumper back to primary on my new drive, will (although my chip can only see <137 GB) using the latest Xecuter2 Bios allow me to see the full 160 GB while in Evox Dash?

Thanks in advance for your quick reply.

why not just make 2 partitions, F+G (use a .67 bios)

copy everything to F, on the 160 gig then when you're done just FTP stuff over to G to free up space on F

I'd rather not deal with a G:\

Seems like I could just format the 160 GB drive with Slayer's for the full amount without needing a small 23 GB partition that i have to manage space on in the future. Then after the format, just put my original HD back in and slave the new 160 GB into the DVD Rom part of the IDE and use my Xenium to copy the files.
