couldnt figure out what forum this belongs in because its a strange problem. Anyone at all familiar with it, lemme know.

Anyway, I bought ninja gaiden last week, and since Im lazy and dont like swapping discs I copied it to the HD as I have done with the majority of my games. Anyway, it plays from the disc no problem, but when I try to load it from the HD it starts up, and gives the error "disc is either dirty or damaged".

Now, its not a real concern because I have the DVD, but my concern is its indicating possible problems with the HD, although Im not sure. My guess is either that or the newer games require a patch or something since Im using the 4976.02 BIOS.

Any ideas, kids?

I'll email you pictures of food if you help me.

Yeah, might need patching, as that bios is a little dated! It should, as you probly know, run fine from the hdd, as does mine! Did you ftp it over or use dvd2xbox or similar?

Yeah, that should do the trick! Did you check the final screen for skipped files though?
