I just finished doing a quick solder install on my xenium. It boots fine with the x4977 bios as long as i use the stock HD, but when i try to use the same 120gb HD i had installed with my previous x2.2pro, i get error 6.

The hard drive is the same one i had when i used my x2.2pro. It worked fine with the 2.2pro and nothing has been changed on it. It was only taken out to allow room to install the xenium.

Is there something im not seeing?

according to superfro error 6 means 'cannot unlock hard drive', is this 120gb locked? Also upgrade to the latest bios, 4981

if its not unlocked i would try unlocking it with xeniums unlock feature works really well. wink.gif
