Once again I find myself weakening and wanting to buy a Smartxx chip. Can anyone anwser these questions that has the chip?

1). Is the dvd tray gonna open everytime I do a quick boot with the eject button?

2). Can I set which bios bank in the OS(rather than the dip switches) to load when I do a quick boot with the eject button?

3). What exactly is it that makes Linux so great if your not a developer or don't care about rather it's legal or illegal code?

Thanks,
-dman

Hey....also, when doing the quickboot with the reject button do you have to hold the button for longer than 1 sec. to do it?

Thanks,

Like LabMaster said, it doesn't matter.

Great chip by the way. Absolutely satisfied.
Lovely thing to be able to flash/update via webbrowser!

Yeah, I think very highly of the SmartXX chip. I think I might be purchaseing one soon. I am waiting for the X3 so I can compare and make sure I know which one I want since it will probably be the only chip I will be using forever. Another thing I like about the SmartXX is the support....it's been excellent....I always get my questions anwsered. I like to give credit where credit is due.
