Help With Flashing!, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Options

[B] Hi, i'm extreamly new to flashing, i just bout a modchip in my local pawnshop. I have no idea about it.. i just no how to copy a game to my xbox HDD with dvd2xbox. I tried copying 007: evertyhing or nothing, and it was succsesful but i cannot play it. I called the modchip dude and he said to go on this site a read about flashing ( oh so helpful ) well im here. I have no idea what kinda modchip i have ( all i no is that when i use the modchip the xbox logo is orange and when it opens up theres a bunch of things and at the bottom its the launch menu. the background is black with a big logon ( i dunno waht it said, im too lazy to check ) If some1 could tell me how to flash and everything else that i need to know, that would be awesome!
Also if you could send me a link on how to send a game from my cpu's HDD to the XBOX HDD.

Firstly, get yourself the slayers 2.5 disc and boot from that, it will tell you which bios your chip has and from that you'll be able to tell if you need to flash it by doing a bit of research in here. The disc will also let you flash your chip too. Don't just jump in at the deep end though, read some tutorials first so that you know what your doing.

Secondly, Everything or Nothing won't play from the hard drive because it has a media check on it, for that you will need a patch.
