yes i searched "error 16" and went through pages 1 - 10.. anyways last night my xbox wouldn't boot some games that it used to boot just fine from the hdd, then it just crashed during a game so i just turned it off for the night.. and tonight i went to turn it on and i get error 16, i read its a dashboard problem so i put in my evox cdrw that i used b4 to fix my dashboard, and well it just won't even boot from that disc so i can't ftp into my xbox, i've tryed 3 types of cdrw, none will work. i've also realigned my x2.2 lite plus chip and that didn't make a difference and i tryed my stock drive and that gives me the same error except alot faster then the 120gb.. wtf? oh and its a thompson drive mad.gif

so if i get another xbox i can just put this chip and hdd in that and it'd work fine? cuz that'd be the only way for me to get a original hdd since my friends won't open their xbox's and if i got a new xbox i might as well just put the chip and hdd in it
