ok i NEVER used or seen anyone use live... but my qustion is this.

how do i get on live? i mean i know theres free trials and everything. i got one of those cards.. but see, my default dash is xbmc.. i still havee a bakup of the original xbox dash but that dosnt have the LIVE tab... is it safe to use the update dash on my modded xbox? if i update it i should get the live tab right?

im clueless. help me out

I'll give you a heads up though.

To go on LIVE you have to have your modchip off. To have your modchip off you need to name your MS-Dash to xboxdash.xbe and lock your hard drive (if you aren't using the original)

ALL info can be found in the pinned topics.

EDIT: Updating your dash will be fine once you have all of this done.

Ummmmm..... The ORIGINAL ONE. AKA the onboard TSOP. You have a chameleon. Turn it off and the xbox will boot the original bios. Now all you need is the original dash and a locked drive.
