i would prefer not to screw with the motherboard in my xbox right now but i would like to get the save games off the locked hdd to the old motherboard (non working board) where does the lock reside is it in on the plattes or on the board of the hdd can i just get a hdd of the same moddel that is unlocked and swich the boards (is that possible) blink.gif

No that won't work. The lock info is stored on a special area of the HD not accessable by normal methods.
