If you'd search, you'd realize there is NO DVD menu support in XBMC.

I have a similar problem. If I switch XBMC to 1080i and try to play a DVD it freezes, but 480p works fine? I tried both the backed up and original copy of the movie. I also played the .VOB files directly off the DVD in 1080i fine, but Play DVD won't work in 1080i. Any ideas?

Thanks.

DVDs work fine for me in 1080i. What build are you using? I'm using the 3-31 build.

Why not use the DVD player included in the MS Dash instead?

Because XBMC upscales the DVD to 1080i/720p for those with HDTV sets. The best the regular dash can do is be hacked to support 480p.

There is no menu support regardless of build. This is not a bug. They have not implemented menus yet.

This was already stated in this very thread - just read a few lines above.
