Hey All,

When i plug my power cord into my xbox I hear a sound. Also when i take the power cord out it has a smell. The xbox does operate but it freezes at different time. Sometimes it flickers real quick then freezes.

1. What is the power\cord issue?
2. Might this issue cause the freeing problems?

Specs:
v1
Thompson DVD
Seagate 10MB
X2 Lite Mod

Sound like there is a short in the power cord. And yes, it can cause the freezing problems.
