Xbox-Scene is not responsible for any transactions, or any actions of it's members in this forum whatsoever!

Anyone choosing to conduct any sort of transaction with another member on XS does so at their own risk and expense.

As individuals, you need to take responsibility for your own actions, and you need to take responsibility for the fact you are dealing with strangers on the internet. Xbox-Scene is not a professional Sales service.. and is provided free and without any kind of warranty. We also will not ban people because you claim they ripped you off. Do NOT send the the "evidence" as we simply do not have the time, manpower, or will to follow through on your complaints. We have no intention of mediating any more disputes.

If you are ripped off, the only thing you are allowed to do on XS is to report it in the thread of the seller/buyer/trader ONCE. Alternatively you can make a note in your signature stating your grievance with the user. What you cannot do is spam other XS forums with your complaints. Do not make threads complaining about transaction that have gone bad. Do NOT contact staff complaining that a user has ripped you off. Do NOT make new threads in this or any other XS forum complaining about the "user" that ripped you off.

Xbox-Scene Does not recommend or endorse the use of the XS BST forums unless you are willing to take responsibility for your own actions, and you assume all risk. We do however recommend that people who wish to assume that risk should research the people they are dealing with, and alternatively search out and use professional Sales forums.(many of which offer the services and customer protection you keep asking us for here on XS but will NOT get here!)

People who continue to ignore the clearly posted rules and post complaints all over the place despite moderators and staff closing and moving them.. expect two things to happen.. the person complaining (and not necessarily the accused) will have their account closed, and that BST will get closed altogether. XS has already dedicated too much time and human resources to maintaining this area of the site. If it continues to be a problem we will close it.

Also.. do not ASK for any expansion of the BST type forums as we have no intention of adding forums to this area, or to expand the services provided.

Feel free to LIST your XBOX or XBOX item for Buy, Sell or Trade. others can feel free to offer any number of legal items (under the XS rules of course) or cash in trade. What people cannot do, is start new thread, and offer NON xbox items. Period. No new threads with people offering non-XBOX stuff.

UPDATE:Getestore and Similar “store” / commissioned pre-made store type concepts – No Commission Based Sales. Period. This is pretty much a BST and BST360 specific rule. Any products offered for sale should be in direct possession by the seller. From now on, and new post in any of the BST sales type forums on XS, must list the products and merchandise in their entirety in the post on XS, or don’t bother posting at all on our site. To be perfectly blunt, XS is not here for you to make money. XS sponsors are the only exception to this rule. The items listed in any sales thread or post on XS, must actually be in the possession of the person(s) listing it for sale or trade. Selling items for a 3rd party business via a commission based "Ready Made Internet Store" does not constitute owning the stock, and will result in a closure of the thread, and possibly the account. We want members to be directly accountable for any actions/tractions they conduct on our site.

UPDATE JAN 2007: Do not start threads asking "what can I get for 5$, 10$ etc" as staff will close them and make a ban req on your account. when making a new post, either Offer to sell a product, or trade a product. If you want to buy something.. go into an existing thread and make an offer on a product or service. DO NOT MAKE NEW THREADS ASKING WHAT YOU CAN GET FOR $5 bucks etc.

Do Not Offer to Buy, Sell, or Trade GameFly Subscriptions. Members can get their own subscriptions.

UPDATE: XS will not DELETE threads on demand. Even in light of the Raids on US shops. You can request it be removed/made invisible, however, we will keep it open for 30 days if you do so, allowing those you have serviced can comment, communicate, and / or complain or raise issues. We can make some requested edits though of info you posted, however, we will keep it on file. Note, deleting or removing your thread at this point is too little, too late. the authorities have that info already, and worse, every search engine and spider crawler on the net has it archived.

I've decided to sell my xbox case, since I need money to finish my plexi case. Here's what it includes and has been done to it and descriptions:
*Dodge Viper 2003 Emblem DVD Window - Pics Below, included plexi precut to fit under it. Looks real nice with the disc spinning under it and the cathode shining out.
*Painted Black (with Krylon Clear Coat on top piece) - Top: Very shiny, looks great with few flaws, clear coat only dripped a bit on the back, not visible from front or top. Bottom/front: front is just painted black, Bottom piece was painted blue first and then turned upside down and painted black, so the top of the fins in the back are blue on top, but black on bottom, you don't really notice it that much, but it goes with the color theme of the lighting.
*DVD and HDD casing - both included, HDD casing has holes drilled on the bottom to keep the hard drive cool, helped a lot for me, it solved my hard drive from freezing. HDD casing is also cut for the 80mm fan to fit and has a slot cut that was made to help fit my round IDE cable.
*Case Screws and the 4 Rubber pads from the bottom - don't worry they're included wink.gif
*Cleared Jewel - Crystal clear, I used brasso and it worked great, silver is still in the lettering, jewel has some black spots on the outside edge because it was glued down once before, and then removed, so some of the paint stuck to it, but once it is re-glued in, the black spots will be over the lip anyways.
*80mm 12v LED Fan - A great inprovement on the xbox's original fan, one end plugs into the HDD's 4 pin molex connector and the other into the HDD, very simple. Has four blue LED's, looks awesome. Already ziptied to the case.
*Metal Shielding - The whole bottom piece of the metal shielding is included. The metal on the shielding that is behind the fan was cut ou to increase air flow and decrease noise.
*Brand New, Unused Blue Round Cathode w/ 2 inverters and switches - I just got it in the mail from www.svc.com I haven't installed it yet, I'll leave it up to you, so you can do it how you want. It includes a regular blue inverter and an inverter with 2 bright blue LEDs and clear casing. I returned a blue one once because it was making sparks and got extremely hot, so they sent me a brand new clear one that works great and looks cooler. Since I got a new cathode I now have a blue one that works too... up to you what you want to do with it. There are 2 switches, one for each inverter. The fan is not incleded with the new cathode, but it has the mount and screws if you want to put it on one.
*Power Button assembly - in includes the buttons and the thing that distributes the power LED light, but not the power button board (the piece that has the actual buttons and LEDs)

That's all I can think of, if you think I missed something, wonder if I'm including something, want to make an ffer, or just have a question, best bet is to ask in the topic, or e-mail me, since I always forget to check my PMs. My e-mail is kirby346@hotmail.com

Old pics (just to see the DVD window and jewel, with cathode and LED fan, before it got clear coat)

Top of Case
Pic of the top part of the case, there is some dust on it.

Jewel and DVD window
It shows the black spots on the jewel, but as you can see in the first pic, they don't show up when it is on the case. There is some dust on it on that pic too.

Bottom of Case
With the case screws inside and the Fan attached (Edit: sorry it turned out blurry)

Cathode stuff and HDD tray
The tray looks kind of green because it was sanded to smooth out the drilled holes. The fan with the cathode is not included, because you already get the LED fan, but everything else is.

Everything
A pic of everything...
