Here let me try:
If you cut the yellow wire in order to add a power button to a controller, will this have the same effect on the Steel Battalion controller as it would with a gun and steering wheel?

Yeah, Ive been wondering about that too. But I guess you could always make a switch that allows you to switch between power and video sync, if it does pose problems.

strange....well as i was posting i got a "dont bother me" from the server....guess it started the post and never added the text, sorry about that. The question is if i use the yellow wire to put a power button on my controller will the SB controller still work?

Seeing as there's only like 3 people who own that thing, you're going to have a tough time finding out. You're going to have to either test if there's any activity on the yellow wire in the controller or in the xbox while playing or just cut it and see what happens (don't hook it up to the power until you know that it's not doing anything).
