I understand that LITE has brought in a whole new group of poeple, but ii mean, lets face it, this never really was a dash for n00bs to begin with. And if they acutally researched when trying to use the first tHc dash then they would see how much more flexible the first was and would probably feel the same as us. I'm not saying that LITE is horrible, i do have it on my xbox, but the original is the one my xbox boots up to still. Really, easying skinning is the only advantage i see using LITE. Sure OEM it has the no resign and everything else, but you can download fuckdb's patches and make the original the same. I do like the new visualizations however. Sure whe dont really need to change the tabs, but why have tabs there that are obsolete due to the music manager and just plain no one going into gamesaves everytime you start up the xbox. I think that its fairly safe to assume that more then 95% of the people who have a modded xbox go to the Games/Applications/Emulators menu far more then the Music/Game Saves menu. Its more a matter of ease because the game, application, and emulator menus are used more then the music and game save menu. Add features, dont take features away.

If it weren't for lite I wouldn't have used the THc dash at all..or it would've taken me a lot longer to get into it(I always liked the look/skins). I haven't used the original, but it just comes down to one being more flexible yet harder to configure, and the other being a little less flexible with much easier configuration and added(also removed) features. I'm really liking lite, and I think it just blows every single other dash away. i do, however, have to agree with some of the people here on that it'd be better if you could change the initial tabs --> music/memory and move them into the settings section and have something like al games, emulators, hard drive, and settings type set up, where settings has both the music/and memory sub setting. these things don't really bother me now, but it would be nice to inlude some flexibility on the initial tabs in a future version of Lite.
all taht aside, this dash is just too great and i'd take it over the original simply for the ease of configuring and everything else. i don't like to put tooo much time into things, and the little things that lite is missing from what the original has doesn't mean all that much right now. i can't wait for the final release!
