i got the EvOx Boot Disc finally and i used it did the ftp connection and all dat good stuff
we followed the instructions @ xbox-scene.com down too the bone and the last step said too reboot the system and the evox dashboard should show up. So we rebooted and we got our same original dashboard, no evox it wont even read my boot disc anymore, and the light on the chip is flashing red. only idea i have is that the chip came out of alignment but i highely doubt it because all I did was press the eject button.
Any ideas?

I take it your using a matrix. Did you remember to switch the matrix from mode 1 to mode 2, 3, or 4? Mode 1 disables the mod and is used for aligning.

My guess is that it has come unaligned again. Re-align and try again.

If he installed the chip in mode 1 to align it, he would have had to put it into mode 2 to FTP to it and read the disc. How would flash red, since it always stay green in mode 2...

Maybe mode 3?

if the console is a v1.1, fill the LPC holes with solder.
Then, (incl if it is a v1.0 console), clean the LPC points & D0 point with alcohol or similar cleaning agent. Try using a slightly longer screw too, making sure the mod is secure.
