can some one help me with this.. i am downloading ps 8.0cs and have nevr used photoshop before. i am woundering if someone can make a tut. on how to sepecificly use photoshop with this template? and also what paints to be used and how to paint to get best colour?

Really, just look at the simple readme to get started. I would have to get some free time to make a real tutorial but playing around with Photoshop is the best thing you can do to get adjusted. Everything takes a little time to get good. If you would like some tutorials there are lots out there, just Google it! smile.gif

can u release your version of mirage box? i think thats what its called! can u just release a beta version for us to test out plus then u may find that someone finds solutions for ur problems?

Found your template after I stayed up till 5am working on my own in PSP8 smile.gif
Not so much for paint schemes but I wanted to know what the xbox would look like with different shaped holes for a dvd window etc.
Here's the slightly compressed and resized to fit file

Wow, what an awesome template.

I had to use the Advanced, even though this wasn't much of an 'advanced' paint job smile.gif Basically I just wanted the tray 'wedge' area separated. I have made a spin-off template with all the correct layers merged to get this effect; you can get it here (6.65MB PSD file)

BTW I was going for the color scheme of my Xbox Live Halo 2 emblem....

I don't think I got the 'cobalt' blue color quite right, but it's close enough for now. I'm thinking I might either 1) Get a custom jewel, white with a red lightning bolt (or maybe even a clear lightning bolt with red LED's underneath); or 2) fill in the jewel area with putty (?) to smooth it over, and then paint a red lightning bolt that would end up being larger than the jewel would have been.
