I have been around the x-scene for a while now. I looked up how to do all this stuff never posted a single question. As a newbie at the time I hated all the other kids who would not simply just read the forums to find their answers but had to ask and be lazy. Well I have finally been stumped after long hours of research. Here goes my problem: I was playing around with FireFuckers X-disk and saw that it had a Cromwell bios on it. (note I have a Xecuter 2.2 lite [+]) I thought that I could put that on the first bank, in case I needed it if there was trouble down the road. And then have the 4981 on bank 2 to run off of all the time. However when I flashed Cromwell to bank 1, it is now on both banks. Whether that is supposed to happen I am not quite sure. So I thought I could just throw in my original M7 flashing disc, just like I did when I first flashed the chip back in the day. However this is not the case. Apparently this is some different kind of Cromwell, that is not looking for a flash disc but something else. Someway I need to get this crappy linux Cromwell thing off and by Xecuter back on. If only I was not so damn curious. If someone could provide some assistance that would be cool, cause I don’t want to have to buy another chip. By the way it says on boot up: Xbox Linux Clean BIOS 2.26 - i take it this is not the cromwell flash type?

Try this...not quite sure if it will work, but give it a shot.
