hi,
after copying a dvd movie to the hard drive using dvd2xbox i get a 'video ts' folder
which contains a few .ifo files and a heap of .vob files
i then open media centre and i can find all the files and play all the .vob files by clicking them individually or putting them all in a playlist
i can't seem to use the .ifo files...

what i can't figure out is how to play the whole dvd as one as if i just popped in the disc,
basically i can't get to the menu screen and so i can't change any language options or play the movie from there..

thanks for any help you can give.. wink.gif

Stack your vob files with new xbmc
and watch as 1 file

yes, but this will still just play the movie without going to the menu right?

do i need to play the .ifo files?
some load for a second and do nothing, others keep (seemingly)loading and freeze up, or atleast i lose control for a long time

XBMC does not have DVD menu support, so you're not going to be able to get to the menu whether you're watching the disc as is or have it copied to your HD.

I don't know why anyone would release a DVD player app that doesn't allow you to access the disc's menu, but I don't know what kind of work went into this and what the issues are.
