I have the same problem as most likely everyone else which is when I rewind or fast forward the video:

anything rewinding goes 16x or similar
anything fastforwarding 8x and above seems like it is way off also.

I read the bugfix and it says it is due to mplayer but i just find it hard to believe this couldnt be hacked in?? Is it completely impossible or just no one has thought/tried?

Im using a CVS build from 5/2/04 and FF and RW work pretty damn well. Have been for about a week or 2 at least for me. I can tell a HUGE difference from ff/rw from month ago, as 2x does seem like a 2x speed, 4x is double it, and 8x is on track as well. This is on mainly xvid/civx files, mpeg-1 and -2.
