alright. take the modchip off the list. what if i already researched all of it, which one still has the greater risk? i mean, exploits could ruin the software of your hdd which i think is hard to fix. tsop soldering can cause problems.

when u make a mistake in soldering, is it easier to fix than the exploits? what if you flash the wrong bios, is it easily fixable?

Why take mod chips off the list?
Xecuter 2.3lite+ would probably be the safest. |

if you learn how to solder (which is suppose to be very easy) it's much safer
if you screw up a softmod, it's harder to fix |

yea Sodering is da way to go, IF u kno and are good at it,
also wit the non-sodering ones i heard taht they can be easily knocked off ur connection point, thus leavin u to open the xbox again to re connect the thing to the thing. maybe im wrong but i went wit the other and have no problems so far |

But this thread is titled "Which Has A Greater Risk In Ruining Ur Xbox?" So, I would say that soldering (even though it is a much more stable mod) has a greater chance of ruining you xbox than a solderless mod. I have 2 xboxes. 1 is soldered and 1has a solderless chip. Never had a problem with the soldered one. However, the non-soldered one has come unseated twice so far. Both times I just gave the xbox a little tap and it was good to go. So yes, there is a chance that it will need adjusting once in a while if you go for a non-solder chip but it definately runs a low risk of ruining your xbox. |

yes, as long as its compatible with your motherboard (ex, 1.4s require evox m7 or x2 4979 or later, 4977 will not work) and make sure you dont use a BFM bios |

can u give me a link to a solderless mod? also, if u use the solderless mod and say that u flashed the bios, should u remove the conductive ink pen or whatever u used?

What And A What ¿ If You Want To Get A Mod Check System-mods.com Or Modchipman.com. If You Want To Tsop You Don't A Mod Only If You Want To Flash Using A Lpc Mod.

i thought the solderless mod was the one in the tutorials. i guess i have 2 different things in my mind right now. so if i use the tsop, i just have to put solder between the two points so that they connect to each other and i only have to put a wire if my chip is sharp, right? also for tsop, all i need is solder and wire (if its a sharp)
