for your next job, you can use a hair dryer to take the sticker off

Yes, the hair dryer method works good in the systems made in Mexico with the normal silver sticker on. However, the new systems Made in China with the Hollow Stickers are much harder to remove. I currently have only about 3 of these stickers and I consider them to be 90% perfect but I find them impossible to be totally perfect even though I have removed more than 20 and I have been heating and using chemicals to get them removed. |

Great tip...I tried a heatgun instead of a hairdryer today...it wrecked the plastic around it, it made the sticker say 'void' and didn't peal as well. The hair dryer has always worked while. Though you gotta hold it on there for 2 minutes. It's like cooking...2 minutes at 30% heat doesn't equal 1 minute at 60% heat. (that math is so wrong..i know, lol) |

That sounds like a great idea. Although I don't know if that might violate some copyrights by MS and stuff like that. |

It's been done, even on the forums here. I can't remember the guy's name, but he was selling them. Even PS2 void stickers. They looked good, too. |
