ive installed the font exploit but when i turn it on, the xbox just continually restarts. i cant do the swap trick anymore because the xbox hdd isnt unlocked. am i basically screwed?

i know a way that you could fix it, but u would lose all of your xbox saves and music.

got to blockbuster or hollywood video, take your box with you, and ask them for the xbox default disc or something like that. hook it up to a tv (if they have one), and do what the cd says.

i dunno how but the restarting suddenly stopped when i followed one instruction and that is hold the down key and press a repeatedly. it stopped before loading the dashboard and the hdd was unlocked so i was able to restore it. the only problem i have is i still cant get the audio exploit working. i still get the maximum track error even if i downgraded the dash.

Take a whack at the doubledash exploit contained within my sig. You may have better luck here.
