okay i made my bios flash disk. It booted in the linux and then flashed with the disk i made. It completed and shut off. I turned the box back on and all I got was a power on. off. on .off then on and continued to flash green and red .

Any idea of what is going on?

You`ve got a bad flash. You probably messed it up some where. and the type of bios u flash was wrong. What bios did you flash on the cd?
And what chip are you using? Xecuter lites or Pros?

LOL. not thats funny
what you can do about tsop actually is. Get a modchip. Solderless. Flash it with a working bios. Load up evox. go to teh flash screen. Turn the mod off and it will flash the onboard bios.

so what you are saying is that you completely ignored the instructions on xecuters website ? They tell you to use 512k so you can recover if you screw up.

http://www.teamxecuter.com/cromwell.htm

Plus you used a very old bios that isn't compatible with new consoles - again showing you did zero research really. huh.gif

So you need to change the topic title from "chip problem" to - "I messed Up Please Help"

I read the xbox-scene/articles/flashbios.php

that is where I got my info. I researched it from there.
