so many people constantly ask this and few have an account on teamxecuter.com forums which is needed to view their forums, so i've just compiled the most useful info from my pinned topic on there

if you have an xbox that already has stuff on an f partition and are unlocking new space on a hdd that is 137+ then use the .67
the .67 is for the g partition which is not needed unless you have stuff on the f partition you don't want deleted by unlocking the extra space that was previously not available on non LBA48 compatible bioses.
You can have one fat F partition and this is much more compatible/easy than using an F and a G

If you have a HDD larger than 250GB, it is generally best to use .67 to split the larger partitions up. If you do not, when a single partition nears 256GB of data, some of it may begind to "disappear" because of partition size limitations on FatX.

If you have a >137GB drive, and you have a pre-LBA48 bios, hence you have space that you want to get access to but you dont want to lose your files from your current F drive, then you can use the .67 to have G use your remaining space.
If you are installing a new hard drive then you should use .06 unless you really want a G drive, as with .06 F will include all the remaining space from the drive.
If your drive is <137GB then you wont see any difference between the bioses as with .67 G takes from 137GB upwards.

for those that cant read what was stated above, let me re word it..
if you have used xbtool before and seen how it comes with the option of LBA48 support, you will see these two options available:
Partition 6 take rest of drive
Partition 6 take up to 137GB / Partition 7 takes the rest
This is what is included with the .06 and .67 bios.
.06 = Partition 6 take rest of drive
.67 = Partition 6 take up to 137GB / Partition 7 takes the rest
What this does is give you the option of adding in a Partition 7 (G drive) (with the .67) or just leave F as a really big partition.
ie. If you had a 160GB hd before the LBA hack was released, and had information on the F drive and didnt want to erase it, you would use .67, format partition 7 and have a completely new G drive with the extra 23GB.
or if you were installing a new 160GB hd or didnt care if the F drive was erased, then you would use .06 and format F to have a bit F drive.

thank you, now it's more clear... so even if I buy a 200gb hdd I can use .06 if I make a bigger F partition? .67 is only needed to get g: drive (but f: is sufficient if hdd is smaller than 250gb?)

The only reason I use X4983.67 is because I want LBA28 compatibility with Gentoox Linux (however it isn't true LBA28 of course). G is good for a back up drive, I backup all my ISO's and my pc documents etc to my G drive, everything thats an app or game just ends up on F. Yup gentoox is also on F: forgot to menion.

naw not really, it'd just be like wearing a condum if you know you're never gonna need to use it
it won't hurt anything, but you're not gonna get anything extra from it

Because some people want one huge F drive.

And to clarify this

couldn't you ftp everything in F: to your computer, format the F: on your new HDD then ftp everything back to the new F: without losing any data

people, people! i need help QUICK!
I ran into a little problem..i flashed a friend's tsop with .06 instead of .67 on his new 160gb hd. the real problem is that i can't reflash his tsop because i made a little mistake (well, i can, but it'd take more time that i have now).
anyway, i see only 128gb on his f drive instead of the 150ish that should be there, so my question is how can i correct this? i'd have to format, right? how? please help me out here, guys!
i know this is like a newbie issue, but just help me out haah. thansk!!
