go to google
search for adware
url is like www.lavasoft.nu or somethin
download it
scan your comp
it removes gator and xupiter and crap - very handy
Got it, had it for a while but it only works for spyware and some trojans. Doesn't stop pop ups. Works good to piss off the spy software etc. But I haven't seen an update for a while. Ver 5.83, I think they're still at ........

Paaah, just support grassroots softies and go to Analog X's site and get POW!. Small app which requires manual adding, but is the easiest one to manage. Whenever I getr many unwanted IE windows I just open it up from the systray and add the windows, then hit done and then they die and never reappear again.
Plus Mr. Analog X has many other useful apps on his site.

ok, why do have have people talking about 2 different things here?
Cheerio, follow your own advice.. STAY ON TOPIC...
This topic was about pop up adds, not spyware.. what the hell is a spyware scanner running on your PC have anything to do with stopping a pop up when browsing in IE?
