I have Surreal 64 and tried to emulate Perfect Dark, but the textures where just awfull. I've read that the xbox isn't powerfull enough to emulate this perfect, is this true? If so, is there any chance someone would port it to xbox? I know that it would be damn hard, but is it possible in theorie?

What? you mean port Perfect Dark instead of emulating it?

just email these guys : noalegal@noa.nintendo.com
And ask them for the source of Perfect Dark so you can port it and play it for free.

And now for some help on the issue:

You'll need to double your XBOX's RAM and it should be plenty playable.

RAM expansion costs about $60.00 for the service, and I'm not sure how much for the RAM...

...look on Ebay for dead XBOX mother boards.

Yeah i know but that will take still a couple of years, and i don't think it's gonna come to xbox, i think more its gonna come on xbox 2

you really should buy a n64 with perfect dark on e-bay. (instead of a expensive ram expansion)

i dont know what to say!...in my times of n00b there wasnt questions like that one.

btw i saw at the e3 conker and it wasnt all multiplayer.
in fact its a remake with beautiful xboxish graphics.

i think that in a month the n00bs are gonna ask things like

is it possible to emulate the ps3 on xbox even if the ps3 doesnt exist yet?

Yeah, Conker's single player is the origional single player from the previous game, but some updates here and there along with all new graphics.

There are a ton of multiplayer modes.

What was shown at E3 was one of the multiplayer campaign modes.

So Conkers is going to be a re-release of what everyone has already played, with a Death Match option?

MS blew some cash it seems. :/


Asher: buying a real N64 is BAD advice, yes they are cheap, but they only have a left analog which really BLOWS for FPS' unless you happen to be left handed.

I'm hoping for an Analog Swap feature in the next Surreal myself.
