I'm sure there is a simple solution to this but I cant see a way of doing it.
I have xbox with evox and use FlashFXP. Because you cant use copied cd-rs of music in Xboxes I want to transfer music files from my PC to where they are stored on the xbox and have them saved like you would if you copied it to the HDD from the xbox itself. Is there a guide to this or a program i can use? or can you tell me how (including where on the HDD and what format the files have to be in.) Thanks Monsieur Salmon (I'm english so spit jargon at me and I prob wont get confused.) |

The program is called Virtual Xbox CD Ripper and is available from the XS home page in the Tools section
The music soundtracks are located in E, TDATA, fffe0000 Also, some DVD drive will read cd-rs it might be worth a try if you havent already |

That program is bust, it won't let me transfer files. Anyone got another prog, newer version of this (past 431) or a guide to using xbox Cd ripper?
Thanks salmon |

I think that is it. Xbox Sound Track Editor lets you delete, rename and name the songs but you cant convert or put new music on there.

If the program doesn't work, you probably aren't using it correctly or your PC and Xbox aren't properly communicating.
Three ways to get songs to your Xbox. 1.) Through FTP. 2.) Xbox Soundtrack Editor (probably the best way - definitely the best for PC to Xbox transfers). 3.) MS Dash's built in CD ripper. |
