Alright, I'm a noob to this stuff, and a friend and I have just finished successfully putting together a second xbox with the xecutor 2.3 lite chip. since there has been so much work put into supplying the first one with emulators, games, etc, we are looking for a simple method to ftp from box 1 to the new box so that the new box will have the features of the old box. ive seen one post on here that addressed it, but didnt quite understand it, so if someone could throw me a bone and dummy it down, id be grateful. thanks!

If you have a router then fortunes smile upon thee, but if not...do what they say. If you have a router hook both xboxes to the router and a computer with flash fxp on it too. Connect the consoles in both of the two sections of the window where you can change the location (ftp or computer...get flash fxp and you'll know) From there just send files freely between boxes when you have logged into both xboxes

If I use a router, do I need to use crossover cables? or are ordinary cat 5 cables good enough? Since we set up the boxes the same way i think they might have the same IP address, which I think is really going to put a cramp in my style... please let me know if this is the case, and how i change it now that I've already successfully loaded and launched all the software in which i specified the IP address. Thanks again for your patience. Can you tell me a step by step for not using a router?
