i have a xbox that has about 4 months of use if that. warranty is out.

heres what it does. doesnt boot up when turned on and makes a click like its trying to eject cd.
if for some reason it does boot up i can put the game in and it wont release after that, i found a online petition cause over a 1000 people have this problem (probably alot more who didnt know about the petition) . MS wanted 95$ to fix it

so im told i can replace the dvd myself since im skilled in changing mac parts.

any info on which one to get and where to look?

thanks

ian

Samsung drives tend to have the best compatibilty.
But each user of different drives have had different experiences in terms of compatibility, however the consensus is the Samsungs are the best.

Ebay is a good place to look.
