Hi,
I made successfully a new xbox hdd (SEAGATE 40GB) following the instructions in the xboxhdm_v1.4.zip: I made the partitions, formatted the drives C:,E:,F:, uploaded my old C:\ and E:\ in the new hdd, locked/unlocked the hdd with my hdkey and so on.

Then I changed the original xbox hdd (8gb) with the new one (SEAGATE 40gb) and all was working well (Evox started, XBMC, XBMP, DVD ok, GAME ok....) but when I launch the MS DASHBOARD it returns to EVOX and I don't know why?! uhh.gif

Before the hdd replace I had an xbox modded with font exploit (Ernie e Bert) and I had no problems to lauch the original msdashboard (I have a copy of XBox Book.*, Xbox.* both in /FONTS and in the root of C:).

My XBOX is 1.3 version.

Can u help me please? Thank u!! sad.gif

Try checking the location of "MSdash" in evox.ini

There are alot of files required to use the original dash.
You likely dont have most of them on your computer after a fresh install.
Slayers has them... If you dont have a backup of your original you can extract them from the ISO.

I just copied C: and E: in my new hdd. I don't deleted any files, so why before using this new hdd all was working well and now I'm not able to start msdashboard?
Maybe I need to update the phoenix version ?
I have a backup of my old xbox, should I replace it and make the exploit again? blink.gif
I don't know what to think about it!!

I solved my problem of starting MS dashboard. It just insert an AUDIO CD and then I saw the original dash. My problem was better known like CLOCK loop.
Now I'm happy!!! jester.gif
